后来发现在Keith Devlin的The Language of Mathematics里面有介绍过的。
啊啊,他就是INSTRUCTOR

Just had a look at the first video. Seems to be a great course. And the notion about "Mathematics is a science of Patterns" is really a good opening. 

Notes:
Mathematics is a science of Patterns.They can be numerical patterns, patterns of shape, patterns of motion, patterns of  behavior, voting patterns in a population, patterns of repeating chance events and so on. They can be either real or imagined patterns, visual or mental, static or dynamic, qualitative or quantitive, utilitarian or recreational. They can arise from the world around us, from the pursuit of science, or from the inner workings of the human mind. Different kinds of pattern give rise to different branches of mathematics. Arithmetic and Number Theory study the pattern of counting and numbers. Geometry studies the pattern of shape. Calculus allows us to have the pattern of motions. Logic studies the pattern of reasoning. Probability deals the pattern of chance. Topology studies the pattern of closeness and position. Fractal Geometry studies the pattern of self-similarity in the natural world."

从这样的角度看数学,感觉有趣多了。
