Last year, when I just got interested in nutrition, I met someone who used to be a doctor and became a health consultant while holding a good position in a state owned hospital. He said: 'It's impossible to change people's lifestyle. They would rather go to a doctor after the diseases torture them.'

Is it so?

I totally disagreed with him at that time. As someone who used to suffer a lot from coughing and colds, I would do whatever I can to get healthier. I try new methods just like shopaholics trying new clothes one after one in malls. But there are people who dose not want to change, people who I know well.
'Oh, I don't have the mood.', 'It's too much for me.' or 'Why bother, I'm just fine.'
Do those sound familiar?

Today, when I read some papers on HIS and mHealth, I found that one common question they mentioned is how to be persuasive. It is something like how to nudge people to do good to themselvesIt might be hard, but not impossible. Psychology and high-tech are employed together to solve this problem. Service providers even make games for this purpose.

And datum might be persuasive.
One paper by Niilo Saranummi stated that 'OECD and WHO statistics show that up to 78% of the disease burden in Europe is accounted for by disorders related to lifestyles. '
And in a following paper by Honka et al it's claimed that '90% of type II diabetes, 80% of coronary heart disease, and 70% of stroke could be prevented.'

Will you change your lifestyle to be healthier?
